Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other Sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word." -- Catechism of the Catholic Church 1213

Christ instituted the sacrament of Penance for all sinful members of his Church: above all for those who, since Baptism, have fallen into grave sin, and have thus lost their baptismal grace and wounded ecclesial communion. It is then that the sacrament of Penance offers a new possibility to convert and to recover the grace of justification. -- Catechism of the Catholic Church 1446
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available on Saturdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Penance Services: Twice a year, during Advent and Lent, during which priests from other parishes come to assist our priests in hearing confessions.
Children enrolled in the first year of our Faith Formation program will be prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
"I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; ... he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and ... abides in me, and I in him" (Jn. 6:51, 54, 56.)
Catholics who are in a state of grace, that is without mortal sin, are encouraged to take communion as often as possible or at least on Sundays and on Holydays of obligation.
Those who are conscious of having committed a mortal sin are asked to reconcile their relationship with God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) before taking the Eucharist.

Confirmation is the last of the Sacraments for Christian Initiation: "for by the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed". -- Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1285
The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered to high school students after completing a two-year process in the Faith Formation Confirmation Program. Registrations are in June and the classes begin in September.
