While parish staff are diligently registering new parishioners and weeding out families who have reported moving, we know that some families are no longer active in the parish or have experienced changes: new addresses or old landlines, deaths, or births in the family, or adult children who leave home.
Having an accurate count of our members and knowing how to contact them is important to our parish community. This helps us know what types of programs to offer, influences our stewardship efforts, and helps us communicate important information about events and ministries. Most importantly, it guarantees availability and access to the sacraments!
We are asking every household to complete a census update form. Even if you've recently registered, this is a great opportunity to make sure everything has been entered correctly.
Our parish's Legion of Mary has been visiting households helping us to complete the parish census to update our parish database. They are parishioners of St. Justin and have a letter with them from the parish. They will be verifying basic contact information with you and handing out update forms. The update forms can be brought to the parish office or drop-off at the collection basket on Sundays.
