"To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law"
The Boy Scouts of America strive to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential.
The scouting program stresses the importance of morals and ethics, and helps the boys learn the value of service, volunteerism, and duty to God.  Many boys earn their religious emblems.

The Boy Scouts of America is a non-profit organization, and the local programs are directed by adult volunteers.  Meetings are held at various locations including St. Justin Martyr Parish.

The scouts of St. Justin have been active since the early 1960's and staff the coffee and donut table after Sunday morning Masses once a month.

The Boy Scouts offer programs for grade 1 (Tigers), grade 2 (Wolves), grade 3 (Bears), grades 4-5 (Webelos), and grade 6 to age 18 (Boy Scouts).
