A Journey of renewal in the Holy Spirit

Come join with us to give all glory to Him who is praiseworthy!

Be filled and be a witness of the Holy Spirit!

Come and adore His living presence on the Blessed Sacrament!

The Praise and worship evening is free to everyone and everyone is welcome (Conducted in English).  Praise and Worship is conducted each Saturday of the month throughout Southern California.

What is it?

Community of the Risen Lord is a Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement Headed by Bro. Lalith Perera.  Community of the Risen Lord's vision is to transform our world in to the Kingdom of God, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit. (Mat 28:19).

Bro. Lalith Perera has conducted two annual retreats at our St. Justin Martyr Church in 2011 and 2013.  Bro. Perera conducts prayer services with preaching to over 2, 000 Catholic members every Tuesday and Wednesday of the week in Sri Lanka.

The Mission:

Our mission is to bring life transforming renewal to the Dioceses and Parishes of the Catholic Church in California, so that life in the Power of the Holy Spirit would become the normal life of the Church.

Through praise and worship we experience the presence of the Holy Spirit and welcome the anointing of the Holy Spirit into our lives.

As Jesus said in the gospel of Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”, come join with us in praising the Lord just the way you are.

Our community gets together for prayer meetings at the Parish Center once a month, every second Saturday, at 4:00 p.m.

Our meetings are also held at various locations including St. Cecilia’s Church, Tustin (First Saturday), Saint Justin Martyr Church (Second Saturday), St. Patrick’s Church, North Hollywood (Third Saturday), St. Mary Magdalene Church, Corona (Fourth Saturday).

What to expect:

We begin
with Praise and Worship, to enter into the Spirit of God and then we receive a message from Bro. Lalith Perera (The head coordinator of the group in Sri Lanka, who preaches the good news around the world through the 4 – Steps Retreat).

Anyone who wants to experience the love of God is welcome to join with us.
