General Information

The Faith Formation for elementary and Jr. High students provides education in our Catholic faith to students attending public school in grades 1-8. The classes are staffed by fingerprinted volunteers and conducted by certified catechists under diocesan directives.

Dates and Time

Classes run from September to May. Classes are once a week and are held after school, in the evening, and on Saturday mornings. The age of the child and school grade determines the day he or she will attend class.

Registrations are held during the summer months. Anyone interested in signing up for this program must be a registered parishioner of St. Justin Martyr.

Volunteers help with office work, classroom aides, and hospitality.  Volunteers donate their time and talents to help develop the St. Justin Parish community and to teach and model our Catholic faith for the students and their families.

All volunteers are fingerprinted and have had Safe Environment training. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the Faith Formation office or talk with the Faith Formation Director, Sandra Gutierrez.
