Legion of Mary ACIES

All active and auxiliary members of the Legion of Mary are invited to attend the ACIES (consecration of legionaries to Mary, Queen of the Legion) on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Saint Irenaeus Catholic Church, 5201 Evergreen Ave, Cypress, CA  90630. Mass and Consecration will begin at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow after the ceremony.





 

Devotion to our Lady during the month of May

During the month of May, the month of Mary, we will be having a rosary procession around our grounds every Saturday immediately after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. All are welcome to join us as we show our love and devotion to our Lady intercessor to our Lord God.

The Legion of Mary is a lay Catholic organization whose members are giving service to the Church all over the world. Its main purpose is to: increase the personal holiness of its members through the imitation of the virtues of Mary, foster a deeper devotion to Mary among all people, and undertake various apostolic works in the Church. It is open to all Catholics.

 


Membership is divided into two categories:

Active Membership - meet once a week for prayer, planning, discussion, and do two hours of definite work each week in pairs.

Auxiliary Membership - Consists of those who are unable or unwilling to assume the duties of active membership, but who associate themselves with the Legion by undertaking a service of prayer in its name. There is also the Junior Legion of Mary for persons under 18 years of age.

October Month of the Rosary!!

Every Saturday during the month of October, we will be having a Rosary Procession in honor of Our Lady of Fatima after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. 

All are welcome to join us.
