Event: New Bereavement Support Series
Place: parish center
Time: 7 pm
More Information: Will meet for five consecutive Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. This is a confidential group for anyone in need of companionship and guidance while working through the dead of a loved one. Please contact Deacon Jose for more information or to sign-up 714-678-3426.

More Information: Not a course, class or lecture about Christianity, this is more of a discussion about Christianity to you. Each session we will have a video, then break into groups for discussion. Open to all adults. Free. Visit the Alpha page for more details.

Santo Niño Mass
Place: church
Time: 10 a.m.
More Information: Novena for Sto. Niño begins on January 16 and goes on for nine days. We invite you to bring your Sto. Niño statues. Procession around the property with the prayer of the rosary will proceed the Mass. Reception will follow in the parish hall.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Place: church
Time: after the 8:30 a.m. Mass
More Information: Every first Friday of the month the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration and remains until the following day, Saturday, at 8 a.m.


Event: Presentation of the Lord (Candlemass Day/Día de la Calendaria)
Place: church
Time: 7 pm
More Information: Mass will be in Spanish at St. Justin Martyr. You are welcome to bring your baby Jesus statues and or candles to have them blessed during the Mass.

Event: St. Blaise Blessing of throats

Event: Anointing of the Sick
Place: church
Time: during the 8:30 a.m. Mass
More Information: The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is for Catholics who have an upcoming surgery, have deteriorating health, a chronic illness or major distress. This sacrament is administer every first Saturday of the month during the 8:30 a.m. Mass and in Spanish the first Monday of the Month at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Mission.

Ash Wednesday
Place: church
Time: 6:30 a.m. & 8:30 a.m., (English Masses), 10 a.m. & 5 p.m. (English Liturgy of the Word), 12 p.m. (Spanish Mass), 6 p.m. and every half on hour in the church and hall Spanish Liturgy of the Word.
More Information: Day of fasting for those 18 and not yet 65 and in good health, and day of abstinence from eating meat for 14 and older. Lent begins.
