Event: Safe Environment Training

More Information: Safe Environment training has to be renewed every three years as required by the Diocese of Orange. For adults who work with children in their ministry. This training can be done in place of the Safe Environment training available online

Event: Catholic Home Mission Appeal
Place: church
Time: Sunday weekend Masses
More Information: Helps struggling dioceses in the US that are unable to fund essential pastoral work needed in their communities. Envelopes are in the pews.

Event: Martin Luther- His Life and Teachings and the Catholic Response (lecture 2 of 3)

Anointing of the Sick
Place: church
Time: 8:30 a.m. Mass
More Information: The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is for Catholics who have an upcoming surgery, have deteriorating health, a chronic illness or major distress. This sacrament is administer every first Saturday of the month during the 8:30 a.m. Mass and in Spanish the first Monday of the Month at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Mission.

More Information: Many priests from surrounding parishes will be available for confessions in English and/or Spanish.

Event: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Place: church
Time: after the 8:30 a.m. Mass
More Information: Every first Friday of the month the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration and remains until the following day, Saturday, at 8 a.m.

April 10

Event: Chrism Mass
Place: St. Columban Church, Garden Grove
Time: 5 p.m.
More Information: Mass with the Bishop where the Holy Oils are blessed which are used for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Anointing of the Sick and Holy Orders. No Mass at Sacred Heart Mission at 7 p.m.


April 11

More Information: Last chance for confession before Easter Sunday. There will be no confessions on Holy Saturday, April 15.

More Information: Bilingual Mass. After Mass we will be having a procession with the Blessed Sacrament to the parish hall where the Blessed Sacrament will remain exposed until 12 midnight.

More Information: Multilingual. Several Adults and children will be receiving their Sacraments of Initiation within this Mass. This Mass is valid for Easter Sunday.

Event: Easter Sunday Salubong
Place: gathering in front of the church
Time: 5:30 a.m. 
More Information: A traditional Filipino devotion that reenacts the encounter of the risen Christ with His Mother. Procession to the field at 5:35 a.m. Salubong celebration 5:55-6:30 a.m. Holy Mass at 6:45 a.m. in the church. Potluck reception in the parish center after the Mass.
